No, if you are logged into the app and on an internet connection, it goes directly to the encrypted cloud. If you take a picture while not logged into the application, it will be stored on the camera roll.
Yes, body cameras do not capture the entire scene and do not take into account the officer’s perception of the incident as it occurs. Additionally, if you are terminated as a result of your actions, you may not be able to access the camera footage, your training records, or the use of force report you may have been compelled to complete before obtaining legal counsel. All of this information is critical and should be shared with your attorney as soon as possible in preparing the defense of your actions.
